Via Daily MailNordic folklore speaks of a massive creature that haunted the icy seas of the North Sea, where it attacked passing vessels with gigantic tentacles. And conspiracy theorists claims to have spotted this mythical Kraken swimming off the coast of Deception Island near Antarctica. Using Google Earth, this sea monster appears to be 120m from head to end, with ‘the mid area of a giant squid’.

Yup, that’s a Kraken. Remind me never to go for a dip around Antarctica ok? How fucking bananas is the mothafuckin’ ocean man? We spend all our time worrying about aliens, and global warming, and Big Foot (ya know, myths). Meanwhile there’s this whole universe right below the surface of our own planet that we don’t reaaaally know dick about what’s in there. Yet we willingly go walking in to bodies of water every chance we get. Worst case scenario you get grabbed by this sumbitch that was in Pirates of the Caribbean 3, best case scenario you’re swimming in pretty much 47% whale cum. Never thought about that did ya. It’s pretty much a lose lose. Thank god Larry and Sergey blessed us with Google Earth and we now have the ability to spot these beasts on the rare occasions they do come to the surface. Also, let me be very clear this is literally the only way I ever want to see one of these beasts. No dreams of being the guy to catch the Kraken over here, no thank you. I bet Bear Grylls would do it though. Someone should hit him up.

PS: So this is the island they spotted this thing near. That’s seriously a real place on this planet? There’s literally a 0% chance there isn’t some kind of secret lair on that island. It’s fucking called Deception Island for Christ’s sake. #StayWoke
